Why do we set ourselves up for pain
When we know nothings changed
Why do we keep going back
Keep hoping for something different
Even after we took all the pieces and walked away
Why do we look back
Why can't we let go of the past
And only look forward to the new
Why do I do this to myself

It was almost a crawl
