I've worked so hard to let the past go

To move on and forget everything happened

And when I least expect it

You pop back up

Bringing back all the memories,

And all the pain that comes with them

So I have to make the hard decision

I have to put myself first

Just turn my back

And continue to walk away

But it doesn't make me feel good about myself

But I can't go through all this again

I deserve better,

I have better

So I'm sorry

As hard as this may be

I've got to turn my back

Walk away from this

Because its whats best for me
